Students’ Placement Programme @ EHMA

Does your organisation have students looking for professional development opportunities and secondment programmes? Are you an EHMA organisational member? Are your students interested in experiencing health policy and implementation? Then EHMA Students’ Placement Programme can be of interest for you.

Building on the positive experience had with both the Cluj School of Public Health, Romania and the EPA Internships in Europe, Belgium, EHMA has decided to reserve the opportunity of placement to students of its organisational members.

What? The Placement Programme is addressed solely to recent graduates and/or Masters’ students in public health or related fields from EHMA organisational members. The programme foresees a placement of minimum 8 weeks to a maximum of 6 months at EHMA premises in Brussels, Belgium, supporting EHMA Secretariat in its daily activities, being involved in EU-funded projects and participating in health-related policy work.

Why? So as students can have a more practical, direct and hands on experience of the work a NGO such as EHMA does in the field of health policy, health management and public health. The students will gain meaningful insights on both the administrative side and the work done in the field of stakeholders’ engagement, EU-funded projects and membership management.

When? Starting from September 2017, EHMA is glad to welcome 2 to 3 interns at time, from a minimum of 2 to a maximum of 6 months. Applications are welcome throughout the year and individual programs can be agreed depending on the individual needs of each of the students.

How? If you are interested in such a programme, you would like to know more about this opportunity and you would like to put forward students’ applications, you can contact EHMA Systems and Operations Officer, Federica Margheri at
