Usman Khan (Executive Director)
Usman was appointed Executive Director in April 2016. He is currently Managing Director of Modus Europe a European Public Policy Consultancy, an organisation providing strategic public policy advice and undertakes related economic and policy studies with a particular focus on health and social care. Usman has over twenty years public policy and management experience. He has held Board Director positions in public, private and not for profit organisations and has experience of leading significant change management projects in a number of countries. He currently holds a non-executive position within the NHS and is Professorial Lecturer in Health Policy and Management at George Washington University.
Florence Boivin (Office Manager)
Florence joined EHMA in May 2016. She has extensive experience in office management, HR, finance and administation gained working in different areas such as NGOs, Trade associations and Companies. Florence holds a MSc in Economics from Nice-Sophia Antipolis University (France). In her spare time, she also enjoys organising Art Nouveau visits in Brussels
Nadia Rubtsova (Events Manager)
Nadia joined EHMA in May 2017 as Events Manager. She holds a Master Degree in Economics and Management (specialisation in MICE) from St. Petersburg State University of Economics and Engineering. Previously Nadia has been working in the hospitality sector and has extensive experience in the events organisation and management. She comes from Latvia and speaks five languages.
Michele Calabro' (Policy and Communications Manager)
Michele joined EHMA in January 2016. Michele holds a BA in Public Administration and a MA in International Relations and European Studies (Università degli Studi di Torino, Italy). Before joining EHMA, he worked in Malta as EU Project Assistant at dConsulta and as European Semester Officer Assistant at the European Commission Representation in Valletta. At EHMA, Michele coordinates communication and EU-funded projects activities including SUSTAIN and IC-Health.
Federica Margheri (Operations Officer)
Federica joined EHMA in February 2017 as Operations Officer. She comes from Italy, and holds a BA in International Affairs and Diplomacy, a MA in Politics and Diplomacy and a Master in International Studies. Involved in project management since the beginning of her career, she has now expanded her field of expertise towards systems and operations management. At EHMA, she supports the organisation in project management and she coordinates membership related activities. Federica speaks Italian, English and French.
Yowali Kabamba (Projects and Network Officer)
Yowali joined EHMA in April 2017. She holds a BA in European Studies from Maastricht University and a MA in International Political Economy from King’s College London. Yowali has gained experience in EU policies through a short-term placement at the EU Parliament, and in communications as Marketing Assistant for academic institutions. At EHMA, she is in charge of the research side of the EU-funded project IC-Health. She also manages EHMA membership.
