Procurement for health managers: Co-creation of innovative digital healthcare solutions
March 15 @ 09:30 - 10:20

This fifth episode of EcoQUIP+’s procurement series for health managers will focus on co-creation initiatives that have been launched to implement innovative digital healthcare solutions. In this webinar, our panelists Myriam Martin (TicBioMED Representative from the InDemand project) and Fran Melero Muñoz (R&D Manager at CETEM Technical Research Centre and Coordinator of the Large-Scale Pilot deployed in the Region of Murcia under PHArA-ON) will discuss the role of co-creation in public procurement of innovation. By drawing on examples of their respective projects, InDemand and PHArA-ON, they will also highlight the importance of involving relevant stakeholders to ensure speedy adoption of innovative digital health solutions by end-users.
InDemand is a project based on a model in which healthcare organisations and companies co-create eHealth solutions, with the economic support of regional funds. PHArA-ON aims to support Europe’s ageing population by integrating digital services, devices, and tools into open platforms that can be readily deployed while maintaining the dignity of older adults and enhancing their independence, safety, and capabilities. The platforms and technologies developed in the context of PHArA-ON were developed with different stakeholders based on a co-creation approach during the user’s requirements elicitation.
