EHMA 2020 Annual Conference, under the theme of ‘Health Management: realigning systems, contexts and players‘, took place on 17-19 November digitally through the lens of Rotterdam, and it was hosted by the Erasmus Medical Center, Erasmus School of Health Policy and Management, and the Ministry of Defence of The Netherlands.
With over 360 attendees, 3 plenaries, 7 sub-themes, 17 partner sessions, 16 abstract sessions, the EHMAthon, social and networking activities, the conference brought together educators, researchers, managers, and health professionals to discuss and exchange knowledge and best practices.
The event elevated the vision of health management by exploring new paradigms that help address health needs, explore how to reconfigure health systems, and develop the ability of all stakeholders. It provided an in-depth discussion of new and emerging models for health services, governance systems, management practices, and tools to aid in the future of healthcare.
The EHMA 2020 Conference Report was prepared in collaboration with the EHMA 2020 rapporteurs, and it takes you through three packed days of discussions, speeches, and presentations by health management and policy experts from Europe and beyond. The report is separated by conference topics to facilitate your access to the insights, research results, and best practices provided by leading experts.
