European Health Forum Gastein (EHFG) 2026

In just over two months, the European Health Forum Gastein (EHFG) will bring together Europe’s health community in Bad Hofgastein and online for four days of discussion, collaboration, and networking.
Taking place from 29 September to 2 October, this year’s Forum is co-organised with the Austrian Federal Ministry of Labour, Social Affairs, Health, Care and Consumer Protection, and in collaboration with the World Health Organization Regional Office for Europe and the European Commission.
Under the theme “Health for a stronger European Union – high time for action!”, the programme is built around three thematic tracks:
- Delivering health for all – Advancing access and equity
- Driving health system innovation & reform – Turning evidence into action
- Preparing for a changing world – Building resilience and security
