DigiHealthDayS-2026: Global Digital Health Forum
The 7th edition of DigihealthDays, the Global Digital Health Forum, will take place from 11–13 November 2026 in Pfarrkirchen, Germany, and online.
This year, DigiHealthDayS is co-hosted with the 29th Annual Conference of the International Society for Telemedicine & eHealth (ISfTeH), bringing together the global Telemedicine and eHealth community and the DigiHealthDay community in the heart of Europe. The three-day event will be held in a hybrid format, onsite and online, making it accessible to participants around the globe.
Organised by the European Campus Rottal-Inn (DIT-ECRI) of the Deggendorf Institute of Technology, in collaboration with its sponsors, donors, and partners, DigiHealthDayS-2026 aims to foster education, awareness, and genuine understanding of both the “how” and the “why” of Digital Health and its solutions.
This year’s programme will focus on AI in Healthcare, Health System Strengthening & Resilience, the European Health Data Space (EHDS), 10PH, and more, led by prominent experts from across the world. Alongside keynotes and panels, the programme will feature scientific sessions, a dedicated student session, a special ISfTeH session, and networking opportunities.
A preliminary programme is already available, with sessions and timings continuing to evolve in the lead-up to the event.
The event will welcome Michele Griffith, MD (USA), President of ISfTeH, and Jefferson Fernandes, PhD (Brazil), Director of the ISfTeH Education Programme, alongside returning speakers including Birgit Bauer, Pilar Fernandez Hermida, Angela Ahrendt, Prof. Rajendra Pratap Gupta, Prof. Lars Lindsköld, Prof. Henrique Martins, Dr. Georg Münzenrieder, Laura Stahl, Prof. Martin Gerdes, Dr. Stephan Schug, Eva Sabajová, Camila Tomikawa, and Prof. Lenka Lhotská, among others.
Call for submissions
Researchers, students, and professionals are invited to submit papers, abstracts, and posters and participate in the Student & Young Researcher Contest. Accepted papers will be published in the peer-reviewed Journal of Applied Interdisciplinary Research (JAIR), affiliated with the event’s partner organisations. Outstanding contributions will have the opportunity to be presented at the DigiHealthDayS-2026 Congress and receive awards.

DigiHealthDay is supported and endorsed by local, regional, national, and international partners, including the International Society for Telemedicine and eHealth (ISfTeH), Healthcare Information and Management Systems Society (HIMSS), International Medical Informatics Association (IMIA), European Federation for Medical Informatics (EFMI), German Society of Digital Medicine (DGDM), German Telemedicine Society (DGTelemed), Bavarian Telemedicine Alliance (BTA), and the World Health Organization Regional Office for Europe, as well as local and regional authorities.
The programme will also include DigiHealthNight, offering participants an opportunity to network with the DigiHealthDay community in a relaxed atmosphere with music, drinks, and conversation.
