SCIENTIFIC ADVISORY COMMITTEE
The Scientific Advisory Committee (SAC) provides guidance on research and scientific issues. This Committee advises on the engagement of EHMA in European-funded research projects and experts to involve for events, trainings, projects, and other activities. The SAC plays an important role in providing a focus and voice for the EHMA research community. Additionally, the SAC ensures adherence to robust research methodologies and supports the Policy and Research Team in maintaining the quality and integrity of EHMA’s research outputs.
ACTIVITIES
Over the past years, the SAC worked to produce and publish the first definition of ‘health management‘. The result of this work, the paper ‘Defining Health Management: A Conceptual Foundation for Excellence Through Efficiency, Sustainability, and Equity’ was published in January 2025 in the International Journal of Health Planning and Management. https://doi.org/10.1002/hpm.3903
