Knowledge exchange webinar: Cooperation in EU cross-border regions on labour mobility and skills portability

The Pact for Skills and the European Alliance for Apprenticeships (EAfA) are organising a Knowledge Exchange webinar on cooperation in EU cross-border regions, focusing on labour mobility and skills portability.

Although free movement is one of the EU’s fundamental freedoms, barriers to the recognition and portability of skills and qualifications can still limit access to learning and employment opportunities across borders. Complex procedures, fragmented rules and limited transparency can create challenges for apprentices, learners, training providers and employers.

This webinar, the first in a new Knowledge Exchange series, will explore practical solutions to strengthen cross-border cooperation, improve skills portability and support labour mobility. Participants will have the opportunity to exchange experiences, learn from existing initiatives and discuss how skills recognition and transnational vocational education and training (VET) can support mobility and skills development across Europe.
